Model 16e is very similar to the model 12e (see description of Madas 12e). The keyboard has also a capacity of 8 digits, and the “Counting Register” has also 8 digits but the “Product Register” has a 16-digit capacity. Notice that there is only one key for Additions or Subtractions. A small lever allows to choose between these operations.

The photos below show the rather simple right-hand side and the bell at the left-hand side. This bell is not present on the model 12e. The purpose of the bell is to warn, for Divisions, that the operation is over.
